A poem, imbued by the Hebrew Alephbet
Almighty God, Yahweh, I thank You for everything. I’m nothing without You.
Boasting in my aptitudes and gifts? Chalilah! Not this Messianic Hebrew.
Grateful for the works of Yah. Past. Present. Futurity.
Delighting in Your Word! The Written and The Living.
Hallelu Yah for His mercies! Opulent in graceful truth, so forgiving.
Water You give me. Living waters at that. You turned a rock into a pool!
Zillionaires, can one buy joy? My God walked in the Garden breeze. So cool.
Characters in life can be sweet or sour. I thank You for them all. In this hour.
Thanksgivings directed heavenward. I tremble at Your Power.
Your Omnipotent Right Hand! Saved my ancestors from Egyptian slavery.
Constantly in awe of Your Creation. How can I fathom every cosmic mystery?
Leading me, You are my Shepherd. A lost sheep of Israel. Filled with wonder.
My life is empty without You. From Your saving love, don’t let me wander.
Nobody is above You. Politician, social media stars, nor celebrity.
Shalom is what You give. My heart and mind adorned by heavenly serenity.
Everlasting to everlasting! Your Holy Law! Regal commands. No expiration.
Parents You give me. Them I lovingly honor. Your salvation I celebrate!
Tsunami. Earthquakes. Covid-19 pandemic. El Shaddai, these You can tame!
Questions iconoclastic. Omniscient Yah. Glorified! Holy is Your Name!
Rabbi Yahshua teaches me Your Law. Pruning each day, The Way I love.
Shaddai, I thank you for all I have. For it is all from Above.
The conclusion of it all? Everything that has breath, Thank Yah our Creator! From us humans made in His image, to the cooing dove.
